2022 Kinette Christmas Hampers

THANK YOU for your continued support, generosity and kindness towards deserving local families that need a helping hand this holiday season.

For the 49th year, the Spruce Grove Kinette volunteers are working to make Christmas brighter for local families struggling with a limited income.  Our goal is to support families in need with grocery gift cards and gifts for the holidays.  Last year, with your help, we assisted 640 families in our area, and supported close to 2100 residents!

Again this year, we will NOT be collecting non-perishable food items.  We will collect monetary donations and local grocery store gift cards to 'upsize' the Parkland Food Bank December hamper for all clients.  Last year we provided $82,000.00 in grocery gift cards to our families.  We will still be running the gift portion of the program as usual and will collect and distribute gifts and gift cards to children 17 and under.  Last year, we provided gifts to 677 children in our area!

To ensure a diverse selection of age-appropriate gifts, we ask for donations of new, unwrapped gifts or gift cards based on your child's gender and age.  For children 10 and older, gift cards are ideal.  Please refer to www.sgkinettes.ca for additional information and gift ideas.

Items will be accepted until Friday, December 9, 2021.  Hampers will then be assembled and distributed to deserving families throughout the community during the week of December 12th.

THANK YOU for your incredible support of local families at Christmas.  Best wishes for a safe, happy and healthy holiday season!

Sincerely,

The Spruce Grove Kinette Volunteers
